argentina update

frannie and i had only one week to take in all the sights of buenos aires… so we packed every moment of every day with all different types of activities!

we did educational things…

historical things…

outdoor things…

cultural things…

but obviously none of the above interests you at all. i know that what you really want to know about is all my hot latin lovers. right?!?!

in my one week in argentina, i managed to find not one but two hot latin men.

andres y pablo. oolala.

and i really thought there was some long term potential there.. up until the point where they both cheated on me! with my best friend!

latin men! heartbreakers… all of them! *sigh*

anyways. despite the betrayal and the heartbreak, i must say that it was all in all a super fun trip! muchas gracias to my bff for being my tour guide and translator (neither for which she volunteered… ha), and for putting up w/ me all week.

saturday (continued)

after dinner i met up at caesar’s to hop in a limo (thanks, vivienne!)

and head over to the mgm grand

where we got to drink wine and see the private garden for the mansion suites (thanks, vivienne!)

before heading out to the ka theater to catch the 10:30 show.

oh my good lord. 
cirque du soleil is already amazing enough in general, but that combined with 8th row center stage seats (thanks, vivienne!), meant i could see the details of the costumes and the scenery, and also the expressions on the faces of all the performers! it was incredible. best show ever! 

i want to run away and join the circus! although i suppose i need to develop some type of skill first. =P

after the show we hopped in the limos again to go to pure where there was a ridiculously long line. vivienne’s dad just marched right up to the front of the line and a few minutes later we were at our own private table w/ bottle service on the roofdeck of the club! isn’t that crazy?! (thanks, vivienne!… are you noticing a theme to this post? ).

5 bottles of wine and alcohol + little asian girls = lots of red faces

and if all that wasn’t already crazy enough, i also saw k-fed there!

i know most people are like, eew. who cares? but he is my baby’s momma’s baby’s daddy. so it’s noteworthy. =)

we stayed at the club, drinking and dancing until close, and i managed to make it back to the hotel to pass out by 5am.

i snuck into the pi reunion brunch

after which it was time to pack up and head home.

at the airport we realized we hadn’t done any gambling, so phebe and i each spent a dollar at the slot machines.

and phebe actually won!

what a great weekend! although now i can never go to vegas again, b/c i’ll never be able to top this trip. big big thanks to vivienne and her dad for all the crazy hook-ups, and to everyone else who made the trip so fun. =)

post clubbing, we stopped for food before heading back to the hotel to pass out.

weekend report

friday: moblastic kickoff at velvet lounge

saturday: berry picking!  so fun… and so delicious!  =)  thanks to wangela for organizing (angela always has the most creative ideas for activities/outings!)

harry’s bar (happy bday, junius!), and club 6 at night.

sunday: brunch (how satc!) and union street festival w/ resa and phebe.  i bought way too much stuff (shirt, bag, photos, stationery, greasy festival food, etc…), but my justification is that i’m supporting local independent artists, so really it’s a good thing.  =)

deca spring show (i stole these pictures)… they performed one of my choreos! 

pluto’s w/ will, salsa at buddha.  thanks, honeybee, for coming out!  i need more salsa buddies.  if you’re interested (or know anyone that might be interested), let me know! 

bff birthday

saturday was a day of non-stop bff birthday celebration! 

first there was frisbee, football, and cupcakes in golden gate park…

then bubble tea at double rainbow…

followed by dinner at the helmand…

and finally boozin’ and bootyshake at the monkey club!

frannie was the drunkest girl (“i’m so druuuuuuuuuuuunk… let’s make out!”).  it’s good to know that somethings never change.
